Job description
Job description
We are looking for a Website Management Specialist to take ownership of our websites across all our markets (currently the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany) and grow them into strong, self-sufficient organic and converting channels.
Your main focus is the website itself: you own its structure, day-to-day management, and how it performs across markets. In practice that means building landing pages, optimizing SEO, briefing the creative assets that go on them, setting up A/B tests, and quality-assuring the whole thing across every market. The goal is simple: our websites should be the best converting and most findable in the category. Everything we offer is easy to find, and once someone lands, signing up is effortless.
This is a good fit for someone who enjoys owning a website end-to-end across multiple markets, thinks in terms of steady compounding growth rather than campaign sprints, and likes testing and improving rather than just maintaining.
About Wellis
Wellis is a fast-growing healthtech scale-up reinventing healthcare. We are building the first truly integrated health platform in the Netherlands, offering on-demand care for everyday health needs such as weight loss, hair loss, sexual health, and more.
Our platform covers the full journey: from diagnosis and medical assessment to prescription and delivery at home. By combining medical expertise, technology, and data, we make healthcare smarter, more accessible, more personal, and easier to use.
We are growing quickly, which means we are building the structures, teams, products, and processes that will help us scale responsibly. You will join an ambitious, international team where ownership is encouraged, collaboration is key, and impact is visible from day one.
About the role & team
You'll join our Marketing team and sit at the centre of everything that touches our websites. That's not a figure of speech: almost every team needs something from the site. Content needs pages that fit their copy and their markets. Design needs assets live and working. Performance Marketing needs landing pages built for paid traffic. Our CRO Specialist needs tests built, QA'd and shipped. Medical needs claims presented correctly.
You'll work in Storyblok (CMS), VWO (A/B testing), Typeform (on-site forms), GA4 and Search Console (measurement), and Semrush (SEO), and coordinate with our development team and PO to get larger changes into sprint.
What you'll own
1. Website management (main focus)
Site ownership: Manage our websites day to day across markets, content structure, page setup, and CMS management in Storyblok.
Site health: Keep an eye on technical site health and coordinate fixes or improvements with development.
Journey & forms: Maintain and improve our Typeform flows and the wider on-site journey.
Continuous improvement: Spot and prioritize website improvements and follow them through to being shipped.
2. Experimentation
Test execution: Build and QA experiments in VWO's visual editor, from brief to live test.
Pipeline: Coordinate experiment tickets with the dev team and PO within existing sprint cycles.
Analysis: Monitor GA4 for performance issues, anomalies, and quick-win opportunities, and turn them into test hypotheses.
3. SEO
SEO roadmap: Own keyword strategy, content structure, and on-page optimization across our markets.
SEO Engine: Own and scale SEO Engine, our programmatic SEO project that uses AI to generate content (articles etc.) at scale.
Organic visibility: Grow qualified organic traffic and rankings for priority topics, in a compliant, medically accurate way.
4. Collaboration & reporting
Performance alignment: Work closely with our Performance Marketing specialists so paid traffic lands on well-built, on-message pages.
Content collaboration: Work with our content & translation team so the website's structure and setup support localized copy well.
Reporting & insights: Report on website, SEO, and test performance and turn it into clear input for our growth strategy.
Job requirements
Who you are
Website owner: Strong hands-on experience managing a website day to day: CMS work, content structure, and coordinating with developers to get changes live.
SEO-minded: Solid experience with SEO, technical, content, or both. Interest in or experience with AI-driven / programmatic content production is a strong plus.
Structured experimenter: Comfortable building and QA-ing A/B tests yourself in a visual editor, and working to a testing methodology rather than ad hoc tweaks.
Multi-market mindset: Comfortable owning a website that serves multiple markets and languages, and working closely with a content & translation team to get localization right.
Sprint-native: Able to work within agile processes alongside a PO and dev team.
Collaborative: Works well alongside performance marketers. Curious about paid channels and data, without needing to own them.
Languages: Fluent English required; Dutch or German is a strong plus.
