Design intuitive web & mobile experiences at Wellis. Shape the digital health journey from the ground up and create accessible, stigma-free care for thousands — soon millions.
Job description
Introduction
At Wellis, we believe healthcare should be more accessible, personal, and stigma-free. Too often, people hesitate to seek help for certain health concerns. Our mission is to lower those barriers and make it simple for people to connect with the right care — now, and for the long term.
We’re building a next-generation digital platform that goes beyond a website: our ambition is to launch a mobile app that integrates with health apps and devices, supporting people continuously throughout their health journey. This is your chance to design experiences that will impact thousands of people — and eventually millions.
Why Wellis
Wellis is a young, fast-moving healthtech scale-up with a clear mission: combine medical expertise, technology, and data to make healthcare smarter, more efficient, and more personal.
We’re focused on lowering the barriers to care, especially for health concerns people don’t always feel comfortable seeking help for. Our treatment portfolio is expanding rapidly, and our ambition is to build long-term, digital-first solutions that support people at every stage of their health journey.
You’ll join an ambitious, international team where ownership is encouraged, collaboration is key, and impact is visible from day one. We’re opening our new office in Rotterdam this year, where the team will meet 1–2 days per week to brainstorm, build, and grow together.
About the Tech Team
This is a unique moment to join Wellis Tech. So far, an external agency has delivered the initial version of our product. Now we’re bringing everything in-house — and as UI/UX Designer, you’ll work directly with our CTO, Anthony Ioannou, to shape the design foundation of our platform.
Anthony has scaled tech teams from 0 to 300, and is now building the Wellis team from scratch. Together with engineering and product, you’ll set the standards for design, usability, and user experience at a time when every decision has long-term impact. Over the coming period, the team will scale to around 10 people, giving you the chance to be one of the defining hires in how Wellis is built.
About the Role
As our UI/UX Designer, you’ll create intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing experiences across web and mobile. From designing product flows to refining the smallest details in Figma, your work will define how patients interact with Wellis.
This role is ideal if you’re ~3–5 years into your career, eager to step up to a position with more ownership, and excited to design for a product with real-world impact.
